The challenge

Altoa provides premium healthcare through membership cards and a network of partner facilities. Yet clients had nowhere to see their care in one place — examination results, communication with care coordinators, membership usage, orders and invoices were scattered across the back office, the call centre, email and the online shop. Meanwhile the website showed everyone the same content, regardless of their membership, what they had already been through or what was coming up next.

What we’re building

We’re building the client zone as a personal care hub. Clients see upcoming appointments, examination results (secured, with metadata kept separate from content), their full communication history with Altoa, membership status and usage including a digital card, orders and invoices. Family and corporate accounts have their own visibility rules — parents see their children’s accounts, employees see only their own data, an HR admin sees aggregated billing. Content is personalised to each client: the dashboard, recommendations and offers are assembled from their membership, their history and what they still have left to use on their card. Underneath runs an integration layer that decouples the system from third parties — CRM, booking, call centre, payment gateway — and maps their data onto one canonical model. Monthly membership subscriptions and multilingual support from day one are part of the build.

Results

The project is in development and not yet deployed. The goal is for every Altoa client to have everything about their care in one place, with the website and client zone showing what is relevant to them specifically — instead of the same content for everyone. For Altoa, that means visibility into membership usage, fewer requests that coordinators have to handle by hand today, and a foundation that new services can plug into without rebuilding the core.
